Jimmy... he's still playing with Chuck (Poland, Blue Note, Annapolis), but he's been very busy... booking a lot of dates through his Boiling Point CD release as well (found out today he's got an upcoming gig at Dizzy's Club Coca Cola!). Back in 2007 for the "Friends and Love" reunion concerts, my wife and daughter and I traveled from Waterford Mi. to the Eastman Theatre in a rented car. According to Map Quest that is 345.05 miles one way. Eastman is an unbelievable place to hear music. My only regret was letting the woman who sold me our tickets into setting in the next to the top balcony. It was January of 07' I had the money to set lower but went cheap instead. However the Concert was Wonderful and had a chance to meet everyone from Chuck to Gap. I would drive that far again to hear CM and a Orchestra.]]>
